To potential puppy buyers,

This letter is intended to notify people considering the purchase of Laurie Sheldon's Goldendoodles or Standard Poodles that she is a reputable breeder. I've been examining her dogs and puppies for a little over one year. She is a consciousness breeder that cares about the health of her dogs.

Laurie vaccinates the puppies at 6, 9 and 12 weeks with Vangaurd 5 way vaccinations. Deworming is done at 5,6 ,7 and 8 weeks with Pyrantel pomoate. Veterinary health checks are performed on puppies at 5-6 weeks old. All puppies develop and thrive like any normal, healthy puppy should.

The breeding dogs go through rigorous testing in order to ensure the health of their offspring. All breeding dogs are OFA certified for hips and elbow. CERF testing is done on all adult dogs to ensure eye health. Thyroid testing is also performed on the breeders.

She guarantees her puppies and stands by that guarantee. Once a dog is purchased, she requires the owner to have the dog examined by a veterinarian within 24-48 hours to ensure its health . She follows up with owners and follows through with her commitment.

If ever a concern arises with any of her dogs, she quickly has them examined. She is very meticulous about the quality and health of her dogs. I recommend her as a breeder because of her thoroughness and attention to detail. If you have any further questions about Laurie, please call SouthKent Veterinary Hospital.

Sincerely,

Amy M Green, DVM

puppy playing I wanted to reassure you that everything went smoothly with American Airlines yesterday. She was there in the cargo terminal when I arrived at 5:00 pm so she only had about 25 minutes on the ground transiting between the airplane and cargo. That was wonderful. She is the sweetest little girl. She rode back from the airport laying on my lap asleep on my left arm. She has adjusted so well to our 2 cats and 11 year old Golden. Everybody is finding their secret hiding places to sleep and although she initially did her peepee and poopee wherever she wanted, she has been going to the door to tell me she wants out every couple of hours, so we are well on our way to housebreaking already. She'll hopefully forget what that was all about anyway. She seems to like her bed and her crate, so that's going well too. I'll send you photos as soon as I bring my good camera home from the office. In the short-term, I'll send you a photo from my blackberry today when I have friends visit who can get me in the photo with her. I just LOVE her. She's going to make such a great contribution to our lives. Thank you again for your tender loving care of her first 11 weeks. I'll stay in touch as she grows (which will likely happen fast!). Tonight at 6:30 is her first vetinarian appointment and I have her vaccination records to take with me along with a stool sample.

All the best, LOUISE 2010

Sage the puppySadie/Sage is doing great! She is going in her crate by herself most of the time to take her naps during the day. At night she's doing a lot better. Potty training is ok. We still have accidents, but we are noticing today that she is going to the door now, and loves her treat when she is a good girl with her pottying. She comes in the house and sits down and waits for her treat. She is such a good fit for Gary and I. We just love her. Our grandson slept overnight Sunday and he is in love with her. He said, she is the cutest puppy in the world. He and Gary threw the football in the front yard Monday, and she loved it, running back and forth trying to catch it.

miley the puppy Here is a picture of Miley recently. I am very pleased with her. She won the Halloween costume contest and was on TV. She also got 2nd place in the Great American Hotdog agility and obedience contest this summer.

tigger the puppy Hi Laurie! This is Myra, I am the one who bought Tigger! I just thought I would give you an update on him.I took him to the vet Saturday and he checked out great. We ended up changing his name to Koli because my son couldn't say Tigger very well. He is doing great and even comes when we call his name now. He weighed 12.2 pounds when I took him to the vet. I have to take him back in 3 weeks for more shots and a checkup. Thanks again we love him already. Have a great day!

cookie the puppy Awesome Puppy!

Hi, Laurie -- here's our Labor Day outing photos, when Cookie took her first dip in Duck Lake, near Whitehall, MI. She loves the water -- hooray! -- and is an awesome pup. Hope Lady is doing well, and that this fall is a good one for you and your family.

Laurie,

chase the puppyJust wanted to let you know that Chase is doing great. He is by far the cutest dog in Maryland. I have at least 15 people stop me every day to tell me how cute he is..not to mention he has the best disposition. He is so easy going and obedient. He is crate trained and sleeps 10 hours a night. He can now sit, lay, come, spin, fetch, and walk along my left leg. He is probably about 16 pounds now. I even had a lady pull over from the side of the road to tell me she has seen a lot of dogs and he is the cutest she has seen!

Golden Retriever (Summer)

Golden Retriever I recently purchased Summer from Lori and am very satisfied. Summer is a great addition to our home. Her temperment is very calm and laid back. She is so smart, knows several tricks and does super with being housebroken. Lori has done a great job with her! She is just so well-behaved, I am very pleased with her. ,and Laurie is a wonderful breeder, keeping in contact to see how things are going and answer any questions. I wouldn't hesitate to buy any puppy from Laurie, especially one of Summer's.

Great Experience

Heidi's Poodle We were so impressed with this breeder. Laurie was super knowledgable. Her dogs were well behaved and well socialized. she has high quality dogs and breeds, which is refeshing, especially since there are many poodle breeders out there. I highly recommend Laurie if you are looking for a great well-bred puppy!

The Best!

I definately had my concerns with inquiring about a dog I had found online, but after forcing myself to make the phone call and speaking with Lori, my worries were put to rest. Not only did she take the time to answer my questions in detail, she also made the extra effort into matching my family with the perfect dog. I told her about my situation, and that I have two young children, and she found exactly what we were seeking. Satisfaction is her #1 concern! I could not be more pleased with the entire experience of getting a dog.

Great Experience!

We could not be happier! Our goldendoodle is such a great dog. He is happy, playful, and very easy going. We love having him as part of our family. We've only had him for a few days and we are incredibly impressed with his potty and crate training. The breeder was helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this breeder!

The Best Puppy Ever

Goldendoodle puppy This breeder is highly recommended. My goldendoodle puppy is the sweetest, smartest dog I've ever had. She's very affectionate and loves to play. In just a couple of days, I have already taught her to sit and house training is going well. She does not shed and is absolutely beautiful! It's obvious she comes from very good parents because of her wonderful disposition. the breeder was very helpful in helping me choose the right puppy for my family, and flying her to me safely. Everyone loves my doodle!

Hi Laurie

Izzy Izzy's (bella) checkup went well. The vets scale said she's 11 pounds. She's a smart girl and our shih tzu likes her and she doesn't tend to like other dogs. They play together, eat at the same time and nap together during the day. I can't wait until she's got her shots done so we can enjoy walks in the park.

Hi Laurie

Sadie Just took Sadie (sage) to the Vet today and at 4 months old she weighs 22 1/2 pounds.

Sadie is such a loving and happy dog. She is all house and crate trained. She has never chewed anything in the house and once we told her not to play with our slippers and shoes, she obeys and ignores them now. Her favorite thing to do is be outside with us when we are doing our lawn work. She follows us every where we go. In the house if I'm cooking, she's laying by my feet. If I'm doing laundry, she's with me. On the computer, she's with me. And, if we are sitting down the best place is laying on our feet. She loves riding in the car and is now taking walks in the park. Thank you so much for the phone calls and helping us through our rough patch of house training. You really do care about your puppies and we are so glad we got our little angel from you.

Hey Laurie

Angel I just wanted you to know our first evening/night went great!! No whining, crying at all!! She is such a good girl. Of course being her first night home I got up with her 2x in the middle of the night. Not because she was whining, but because I wanted to hold her. She went outside and went potty. Not one mistake in the house yet!! Amazing!! I have to tell you something, last night, she fell asleep on my daughters lap. Then when I put my kids to sleep Dusty and Angel will go with me to put them to bed. I came back upstairs and watched TV while Dusty laid at my feet and I of course rocked little Angel to sleep, then put her in her bed. Just like a baby!! Thank you we love her already.

Daisy Just wanted you to know Daisy got a wonderful bill of health today at the vet! (of course!) And, we got the microchip, so I'll be sending you that info soon.

Stephanie

Hi Laurie

Dusty Thought you'd like to see this picture of Dusti from yesterday. It's a really good one of her face. She's a really good girl and doing really, really well!! She's almost 60 lbs but really lean and muscular because she gets so much running and playin with the other dogs in the neighborhood. Her coloring has stayed pretty black, with a little bit of gold in a few places (you can see it a bit on her muzzle).

Take Care,
Sharon

Hi Laurie & David

marshall Cosmo (Chance) is doing great! We can't believe he's nearly a year old and that we've had him for 9 months now. We can't imagine life without him now! He loves the new snow. Here are a few recent pictures (all taken within the last month):

Thanks again for such a great dog!

Tom and Meredith

Here are 2 pictures of Koli! One of them is before I got his hair cut, the other one is after I got it cut. He got into a big mess and his hair was all matted so they had to shave him. He is great with my 2 1/2 year old and they love playing together. Thank you so much! Hope you enjoy the pics!

I also wanted to tell you he weight 68 pounds now! And that was without all the hair. I can't wait to see your picture updates so I can see some of his siblings. Thank you again, Koli, is definetly a part of our family now and we are expecting a little girl in February so it will be interesting to see how Koli does with her. Thanks

Hi Laurie

Here is a picture we took of Buddy with the kids a few months back. As you can see, he fits right in with our crew.

We just love him. Thanks so much!

Conner Sassy’s F1B mini Goldendoodle puppy

Hi Laurie,

ConnerJust wanted to give you an update about Conner. He is doing great. He got used with the kids and vice versa, he was neutered, vaccinated and all that good stuff.

Thanks, Mark

Chase Lady’s F1 Medium Goldendoodle Puppy

Hi Laurie,

Here is a video of Chase. His kneeling, sitting, down, place, come, spin, sit...you name it is perfect. I had him trained for 3 weeks when he turned one. It was the best thing I ever did. He is a pleaser. Hope you are well.

Thanks, PeggyAnne

Jackson Sassy’s F1B mini Goldendoodle puppy

JacksonHere's another picture of Preston/Jackson. He is such a joy to have around! He loves being around people. When we go on our walks and someone starts to pet him ( which happens frequently since he is so darn cute ) he sits down for them, very well mannered. We are working on no jumping, he still gets a little excited when someone new comes to the house.

Peggy

Lady’s F1 medium goldendoodle puppy

Hi Laurie,

Cali is such a smart sweet girl, I know she'll make a wonderful mom. I'll probably know more what kind of stud will be best for her when she's grown. I want pups that'll be about 50 pounds. If she's small, I'll want a bigger standard poodle to breed her to. We're still in escrow for the house. I can't believe it'll take near 3 months in escrow then my brothers company has to finish it. I sure hope we're in by the end of summer. I hope to fence the back yard for her.

Sassy’s F1B mini goldendoodle puppy Marshall

Hi Laurie,

marshall Thank you for the video & email. I have been meaning to follow up with you. We renamed Marshall. His new name is Buddy- through a unanimous vote of the kids and me. He really is our buddy; a fun companion for our family. We all just love him, well except for Randy. You can see that he's grown- he loves to eat. That was quite a prank Randy pulled on us, but it was all worth it. Thanks for providing us with such an awesome puppy!

Cinnamon

Cinnamon It's hard to believe Cinnamon will already be 1 yr old tomorrow! We feel so fortunate to have picked her and feel we got the best one of the bunch, although I'm sure most people feel that way. :) She is so sweet, loves to play and gives us and our three boys so much affection - she has greatly added to our lives. Her desire to please is great - she doesn't dart off, is protective while also being very friendly, and loves to play any sort of catch or tag game. Here is a common sight of her thinking it's play time after she has been outside doing her business. I just took these so she is 1 year in the picture.

My cleaning lady has mentioned how amazed she is at her lack of shedding (I don't notice anything) and my son has allergies to most animals too and has had no issues with her. Not wanting hair in the house, and on everything else, was a main deterent in the past with getting a dog. Not with her. Only when I brush her will I get hair in the brush. I just love her coat. If I give her a good brushing once a week, it keeps her coat from matting. And she looks just like a Teddy Bear when I'm done. Thanks again for helping us get what we feel is the best dog out there for us.

Shelly

She's approx. 45 lbs. now.

My Testimonial: Sassy's F1B Goldendoodle

Sage Now that Sadie/Sage has turned 1 year old, I wanted to let you know AGAIN how happy and satisfied we are with her. She has the sweetest personality and loves everyone especially children. She is so smart. She knows at least 7 different toys by heart, and will fetch each one by name. This breed of dog is very family oriented and would be great with kids. We don't have children, so we have to make sure we exercise or walk her. She has a lot of energy! The first day we brought her home she was very calm in the car, and continues to love her car rides. Her favorite thing to do is play in the snow or a walk in the park when the weather is nice. And, of course just hanging out with us!

As for you, Laurie, the breeder, I can't say enough good things about you. From the day we came to see your puppies, until today, you have kept in touch with me just to make sure we are happy, and your puppy is in a loving and safe home. You have always called or emailed me back when I've had a question. You seem to have a great sense of knowledge on what two dogs would be great to breed to make the perfect family dog. Thank you so much for the the last year and I consider you my friend.

Hi Laurie,

cinnamon stuck in deck railing Things w/ Cinnamon are going well. Just thought I'd send some updated pictures. She has the sweetest personality, is doing well w/ potty training, and hasn't whined when we put her in the kennel for a couple weeks now. It's 3 weeks today that we got her. My boys love her, and we really enjoy her too. The 1st picture is of her last Saturday - for a couple minutes, I thought I'd need to cut one of the spindles b/c she was really stuck there! Her hips were too big to go through, and after trying some different things, I finally got her out by pulling her through backwards while rotating her shoulders through one at a time. And then she did it again the next day!!! :) So, I think she has learned her lesson now though. She is playful, fun, and yet submissive and wants to please. She really likes people, and enjoys getting to know her neighbor dogs, although I'm careful w/ her until she gets a little bigger and wiser. :)

Shelly, 2010
